Privacy Policy

This website belongs to Gerrit Tamboer. I take care of your data responsibly, and explain below what data I collect and why.

Contact form: if you use the contact form, I process the name, email address and message you enter, solely to respond to you. This data is sent via Resend (an email service) and kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

Spam prevention: to prevent spam through the contact form, I use Cloudflare Turnstile. This service checks whether a message is sent by a human, without requiring you to solve a puzzle.

Website statistics: I use Vercel Web Analytics to track general, anonymized visitor statistics (such as visitor counts and pages viewed). This happens without cookies and without being able to trace individual visitors.

Language preference: the site sets one functional cookie to remember whether you're viewing the Dutch or English version. This cookie contains no personal data and is necessary for the site to function.

Your rights: you have the right to access, correct or delete your data. Contact me at info@tamboer.it to do so.

Questions or complaints: if you have questions about this policy or how I handle your data, feel free to email me. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
